WELCOME
After dealing with some gut related health issues over the last couple of years, I decided that I wanted to share what I’ve learned through my journey of healing with others who might be dealing with similar problems or who simply want to learn more on clean eating and balancing life altogether with a more holistic and conscious approach.
I am an artist, a dog lover, a chef and a recently graduated Health Coach from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. I believe that food brings people together and that leading a clean and positive life can influence the people that we love.
My father was a very health conscious person and always brought new ideas to the table when it came to food and lifestyle. He believed in medicinal herbs, meditation, fasting and the importance of clean eating.
As a teenager I didn’t always understand his principles, his excitement over a juice cleanse or his crazy passion for honey! But I now realize that many of his ideas did impact my own beliefs and for that I am grateful.
This is why I created positive life to love as I am convinced that our actions, as small as they might be, can have a great impact on others.
I’ve always had gut related issues and severe pms throughout my life to the point that my symptoms aggravated and I was diagnosed as having IBS. My nutritional deficiencies were so extreme that every day was a struggle. I didn’t even have the energy to walk my dogs or do simple yoga poses. I was tested for food sensitivities and with few modifications in my diet and lifestyle choices was able to regain not only my physical health but also to re-set my emotions, change my perspective on life, my relationship with food and my overall confidence. I have now come to accept the fact that not every day is perfect and that it is OK!
I follow a GF free and Plant Based diet. For me, it’s not about being vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian. It’s about eating what works for me and to make it fun and delicious! I am also very aware that we are all different and that the most important thing is to have a balanced and a positive approach to life.
This (ongoing) journey into rediscovering myself is what made me want to learn more about wellness and to share my passion for delicious food, healthy habits and a clean, positive life.
